Then spend a morning with your personal guide exploring the splendid rock cut temples of Ellora, including the massive Kailasanatha Temple, a crowning achievement of Indian rock-cut architecture.

Itinerary
Day 1 - Aurangabad
After arriving in Aurangabad, transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 2 - Aurangabad
Today’s full day excursion takes you to visit Ajanta where Buddhist monks spent centuries carving 29 caves into a horseshoe-shaped cliff. These masterpieces of manmade cave sculptures and magnificently preserved frescoes document both religious fervor and epic tales. Return to Aurangabad for the evening.

Day 3 - Aurangabad
Depart Aurangabad. Explore the cave temples of Ellora today. Here you’ll see some of the 34 caves that were carved out of the low hills. A highlight is the splendid structure of Kailasa – an enormous monolithic rock carving in architectural form. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for onward flights.
